Providing the Ministry of Defence with extra protection against COVID-19
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is a ministerial department that works for a secure UK and has global reach and influence. Towards the end of 2020, Purified Air was commissioned to supply the Ministry of Defence with our mobile virus irradiation units (VIU Mobile) to help reduce the spread of airborne COVID-19 the indoor environment.

All Ministry of Defence bases nationwide, including training and reception rooms, now have our VIU Mobile air purifiers in-situ removing harmful particulates from the air whilst irradiating airborne viruses, including COVID-19.
We have an ongoing relationship with the MoD to ensure these units’ continued supply and servicing and help safeguard employees and visitors. Improving indoor air quality not only helps to increase productivity, it also helps reduce absences due to illness and combat further spread of the coronavirus.
